To whom do places belong? To those who sweep them
It's not about doing big things, but to respond and meet the needs
If everybody wanted a big house, we wouldn't fit in this world

Space Reading is a series of actions responding to that which from a space comes towards me. In the context of the Arts Festival FESTUS (Spain, 2022) I wondered What the built environment would be like if women had had the opportunity to design and build the places we inhabit? How would houses, towns and social spaces would be like? How would our relation with the space and others be like?
I interviewed a series of women architects about their vision of the trade, their vision of housing and the city. Selected quotes were printed in linen and hung on buildings' façades, acting as a script through which we walked and "read" the space anew.
